We offer a premium storage service for motorcycles, ensuring safety and security as well as access by appointment. We offer professional valeting and bike services through out partners.
We also host events, ride outs, skills development and meet ups for the biking community.
Moto Mews is located in Derbyshire, England. Our site is on the beautiful A6 road along the Derwent Valley, roughly 20 mins north of Derby and 15 mins south of Matlock; on the doorstep of the incredible Peak District.
Motorcycles are stored on a raised floor, under 24/7 video surveillance, smoke detection, and fully controlled access at our facility. For certain packages, covers and dehumidifier controls are provided.
Within our storage area, motorcycles are stored behind a barrier with all visitors being escorted and by appointment only. A condition report of your motorcycle is completed upon arrival and at the end of the storage term.
Yes. We ask clients to provide at least 48 hours’ notice should they wish to access, or temporarily use, their motorcycle. On the agreed dates, Moto Mews will release your motorcycle for pick-up and receive it on its return. Access is limited to pre-approved times. Please enquire about our latest operating hours.
We allow drop-off and pick-ups by couriers provided all notification and security steps are followed.
Winter Storage Packages do not include ad-hoc collections during the storage period. Collection is at the end of the storage period. Please enquire if you would like access to your bike if using the Winter Storage Package.
Yes, we have business insurance with a reputable and specialist insurer. Stored motorcycles are covered by our insurance for accidental damage, vandalism, theft (by break-in) and fire.
We do require that clients maintain their own insurance coverage for the duration of the storage period.
We offer a unique service and personal approach with a unique approach to storage services.
Our location is ideal for bikers as beautiful roads abound. Our floor is elevated, eliminating flooding risk and adding an additional barrier of security. We are partnered with other businesses to give you promotions and discounts for tours, museums visits, photography and mechanical/MOT work by reputable providers with great service history. Your motorcycle is covered by our very our business insurance during storage.
Best of all, we have a dedicated members lounge where you can hang up your jacket and relax.
Fees are payable monthly in advance. For partial months (e.g., first or last month), fees are prorated based on the number of storage days used. In some circumstances, additional costs, such as transport or third-party expenses, may apply but we make every attempt to keep these to a minimum.
Yes, there is a minimum storage period of 30 days, invoiced accordingly.
On extremely rare occasions, we may have to temporarily relocate your motorcycle within or outside the facility for operational or maintenance needs. We always ensure a similar standard of care and security.
Yes, Moto Mews organises ride outs, meet ups, presentations, workshops, exhibitions and similar events. Most events are open to all via ticket sales (discounted for Moto Mews Members) and some open only to Moto Mews Members. We maintain an active position within the biking community in Derbyshire and are proud to be supporting the biking passion.
